●A breathtaking corridor of deep crimson Kirishima azaleas, towering over 2.5 meters tall, in full bloom from mid to late April.
●These azaleas, estimated to be around 170 years old, are designated as a protected species in Nagaokakyo City.
●You can enjoy stunning seasonal scenery throughout the year, including cherry blossoms, lotus flowers, and autumn foliage.

●Takano Chikko's Shop & Gallery Chikubuen, located near Nagaoka Tenmangu Shrine, displays and sells traditional tea utensils, bamboo cutlery, accessories, and upcycled bamboo crafts.

3Nagaokakyo City Kinsuitei

This 140-year-old kaiseki restaurant offers traditional fine dining
●This old kaiseki restaurant has specialized in bamboo shoot cuisine since its founding in 1881.
●The restaurant carefully cultivates Kyoto bamboo shoots in its own bamboo groves and serves them at peak freshness.
●Outside of bamboo shoot season, guests can enjoy seasonal Kyoto delicacies such as pike conger in summer and matsutake mushrooms in autumn.
●The floating tatami dining rooms on Hachijo Pond create a unique atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else.

4Kaidechayaryuhachi
