Ume Plums and Figs♪ Searching for Local Sweets and Sake in Kyoto Tea Country
Time required : 1 hour
- Japanese Culture

Joyo's specialty products are "plums and figs." We heard that many wagashi (Japanese sweets) shops and bakeries around Joyo use these ingredients in their creations, so we decided to take a drive and explore. Each item was crafted with care and was simply irresistible. By the end of the day, our bag was filled with delicious souvenirs! Another must-try is the matcha sweets made with Joyo’s renowned high-quality tea. Their rich aroma and intense flavor make them a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Be sure to give them a try!
