To purchase a ticket, change the machine’s language if needed, select “Purchase Ticket,” choose the fare amount, and insert money. Collect your ticket and change.

Amanohashidate is nestled along the northern coast of Kyoto Prefecture and hosts breathtaking natural wonders that you don’t want to miss. This stunning sandbar, often referred to as one of the “Three Views of Japan,” stretches across the azure waters of Miyazu Bay, creating a mesmerizing landscape that seems to connect the heavens and the earth.

To fully appreciate the beauty of Amanohashidate, start your journey by taking the cable car or lift to the top of the surrounding hills. From this vantage point, you’ll be able to gaze upon the sandbar in all its glory, with the lush green forests and mountains providing a stunning backdrop.

Uji, renowned for its exceptional green tea, is located just south of Kyoto City in Kyoto Tea Country.
