The Tango KURO-MATSU Train celebrates its 10th anniversary!
Did you know that you can enjoy an amazing meal while touring the Kyoto coast?
The Tango KURO-MATSU operated by Kyoto Tango Railway, nicknamed Tantetsu, is the only restaurant train that runs along the coast of northern Kyoto prefecture. It combines breathtaking views with delicious meals made with local ingredients. The menu changes 2 times a year (spring and fall) so the trip never gets old.
This year on May 25, 2024, The Tango KURO-MATSU celebrated its 10th anniversary and was fully booked on that day. But don’t worry if you were not able to get a ticket. The train will continue to run after the 25th with a special 10th anniversary commemorative head mark and 10th anniversary commemorative tickets will be distributed to the first 1,000 passengers! The train will be operated with the head mark of the 10th anniversary design until June 30, 2024 (Sunday).
📅Currently, from now through September 2024 you can enjoy the “2024 Spring/Summer Course.”
📢Tango KURO-MATSU Spring/Summer 2024 Course (3 courses – Morning, Lunch, Sweets)
👪Capacity: 20 passengers per course
